Gonville Health currently has a vacancy for an experienced registered nurse to join our highly motivated, friendly team. We are a large general practice located in the heart of the Gonville community in beautiful Whanganui, and share a purpose-built centre with a pharmacy, library/café and community room. Our aim is to be a hub of wellbeing.

 

It is important we get the right fit for the team, and that you match our values and vision to improve the health and wellbeing of our enrolled population; particularly addressing health inequalities for Māori and Pasifika people and lower social-economic peoples.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• A current Registered Nurse practicing certificate

• Experience working in a general practice setting

• Confident in providing culturally safe practice in line with Te Tiriti o Waitangi

• Enjoys working in a fast paced, evolving environment

• Team player with a positive attitude

• Customer and community focused

 

For the right person, we can apply flexibility to meet specific needs and aspirations – this may be flexible working arrangements and hours, autonomy and ability to work at the top of their scope, tasks aligned to the individual’s strengths or interests including leadership/clinical administration, or support towards completing post-graduate qualifications.
