Whanganui Accident and Medical clinic (WAM) is a subsidiary company of the Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN).  It was established in 2003 as a means to provide the Whanganui community and visitors to our city with improved access to primary and urgent after-hours care and to complement and support existing health care services.

Whanganui Regional Health Network is a Primary Health Organisation that focuses on ensuring people in our district have access to a wide range of primary care services. We work alongside general practices, health care providers and the community.

Due to maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced administator to fill this part-time 0.5 role for at least six months. The hours to be worked are flexible. 

You need to be competent with Excel and Word, and an understanding of Medtech would be an advantage. 

Nurse Practitioner

 

An enticing opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Prescriber to join our caring and friendly team at Whanganui Accident and Medical (WAM).

This is a permanent full-time or part-time position designed to provide an urgent care and after-hours medical service to the Whanganui community, covering a wide a range of acute minor injury and illness. The clinic operates a daily service, 8am to 9pm, with weekends and public holidays included.
