Our team is looking for a registered nurse to join our Manaaki Te Whānau Outreach service which operates across the Te Whatu Ora Whanganui rohe. The ideal person will fit well in a team that is passionate about whānau health and wellbeing in a part-time – 0.4FTE role. 

 

As a clinical member of the outreach team, you will work in partnership with other outreach kaimahi, Iwi providers and primary care teams to promote, support and deliver immunisations, B4School Checks, women’s health, and a range of other population health interventions as required.

 

The ideal candidate will:

• Enjoy interacting with tamariki and their whānau to provide a range of clinical and social services, at times in diverse environments.

• Be culturally aware and competent when engaging with all people

• Have the ability to work effectively within the WRHN Multi-Disciplinary Team, with general practice teams, and external health, education and social service providers.

• Be committed to ongoing professional and cultural development; and

• Be committed to delivering care in line with best-practice standards, within a continuous quality improvement framework.
