Registered Nurse – Enrolments & Clinical Administration
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for something a little different? Maybe you’re after more flexibility, less patient-facing work, or a role where you can use your clinical knowledge in a different way.
Gonville Health has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team with a focus on enrolments and clinical administration.
We have 0.4 FTE dedicated to enrolment work, with flexibility around how those hours are worked. The main focus of the role is completing desktop clinical reviews of new patient notes and records – using your nursing knowledge and judgement to identify health needs, clinical risks, outstanding follow-up and anything else we need to know to make sure our new patients are connected with the right care from the beginning.
We are a well-established Very Low Cost Access medical centre where equity, patient care and clinician wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We embrace a team-based care model and believe there is more than one way to use your nursing skills.
What does the role look like?
We’re flexible!
The enrolment component of the role is 0.4 FTE and predominantly non-patient-facing, but we’re open to shaping the position around the right person.
If you are looking for a completely non-patient-facing 0.4 FTE role – great. If you’d like more hours and want to keep your hand in clinical practice, we can build additional practice nursing days around the enrolment role.
We are also flexible around how the 0.4 FTE is spread across the week, so we’re happy to have a conversation about the days and hours that work for you and for us.
Your role could include:
-
Reviewing new patient clinical records and completing desktop clinical reviews.
-
Identifying clinical risks, long-term conditions and priority health needs.
-
Identifying outstanding screening, immunisations, recalls and follow-up.
-
Making sure identified needs are directed to the right clinician or member of our wider team.
-
Supporting accurate enrolment and clinical information.
-
Helping us continue to develop and improve our new patient enrolment processes.
-
Practice nursing, if you would like additional hours and want to maintain some patient-facing clinical work.
What we offer:
-
0.4 FTE dedicated enrolment role – with flexibility around how you work those hours.
-
Option for additional hours – add practice nursing days if you’d like a larger role.
-
Predominantly non-patient-facing enrolment work – use your nursing experience and clinical judgement in a different way.
-
No after-hours or weekend rosters – work-life balance matters.
-
An experienced and supportive team – work alongside nurses, nurse prescribers, nurse practitioners, GPs and our wider multidisciplinary team.
-
Built-in collaboration and learning – regular meetings, education and support are part of how we work.
-
The opportunity to help shape the role – bring your experience and ideas and help us continue to improve how we welcome new patients into our service.
-
Pay scale aligned to the Primary Health Care MECA
At Gonville Health, we value clinicians as people and recognise that the right role can look different for everyone. Whether you are looking for a flexible 0.4 FTE position, want to step back from full-time patient-facing nursing, or would like to combine enrolment work with some hands-on practice nursing, we would love to hear from you.
