Whanganui Regional Health Network is seeking a Wellbeing Programme Lead who is hardworking, passionate, loves working in a community setting and has had previous experience within a primary care or mental health and/or addictions setting and/or whānau ora service. This is 0.5 FTE position requires a health professional or someone with a tertiary qualification that supports leading change within a primary care environment.

The role will provide leadership, project management and coordinate the delivery of early intervention programmes to improve access and equity of mental health and wellbeing services. You will be based in general practice, enhancing the teams’ capacity and capability to deliver holistic care, based on Te Whare Tapa Wha.  

 

Excellent communication and leadership skills are required, and computer literacy is a prerequisite. We are looking for a team player with excellent organisational and time management skills, who has the ability to self-direct.
