Management Accountant

 

Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN) is a Primary Health Organisation dedicated to improving health outcomes for people across the Whanganui District. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Management Accountant to ensure the continuity of sound financial processes, analysis, and reporting across our organisation. This role is full-time, 40 hours per week.

 

The successful applicant will hold relevant accounting qualifications and/or have management accounting experience that enables them to deliver high-quality financial outputs. Ideally, the successful candidate will have three or more years of full-time accounting experience; however, recent graduates with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

 

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing financial and taxation transactions

• Preparing, interpreting, and presenting financial reports and forecasts

• Providing analytical insights to support decision-making

 

We are looking for someone who is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial and business information systems. The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is essential, as is a commitment to supporting the finance team in achieving organisational priorities.
