The team at WRHN are delighted to announce that CONGRATULATIONS are in order for our Pou Whakahaere - Operations Manager; Juanita Murphy who graduated with a Master of Health Service Management (MHSM) from Massey Business School on Tuesday 2nd May 2023. Juanita has been a member of the WRHN team for around 5 years and is a firm believer of upskilling in work. She commenced her studies just before COVID hit us studying via Distance Learning. “The challenge was definitely a worthwhile experience, and I would totally encourage anyone who is considering study of any level to do so, to expand thinking and to challenge your ability to take on concepts and ideas with the purpose being to critique and apply them to your roles.” says Juanita. Juanita completed her studies in October 2022. The topics included Health System Management, Health Information Management, Health Law and Policy, Health Economics and Professional Practice. “I’d be very happy to support/mentor anyone engaging in university study. I’ve also become a very adept copy editor so I’m happy to share skills in this space too.” she said. Lets us all join together in celebrating this awesome achievement with Juanita and perhaps consider taking on board the idea of upskilling and learning new concepts and ideas that you can apply to your roles.
