An enticing opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Prescriber to join our caring and friendly team at Whanganui Accident and Medical (WAM). WAM is an ACC accredited and certified facility with the RNZCUC.

This is a permanent full-time or part-time position designed to provide an urgent care and after-hours medical service to the Whanganui community, covering a wide a range of acute minor injury and illness. The clinic operates a daily service, 8am to 9pm, with weekends and public holidays included.

You will be working alongside a friendly and supportive team of doctors and nurses, who value a culture based on mutual respect and professionalism and strive to achieve equity in health outcomes. This position will include training and development opportunities, including upskilling to an urgent care scope.
